The Queen Margaret University campus opened in September 2007. It is a 'state of the art' purpose built facility incorporating a high level of environmental measures. The new campus is the most sustainable in the UK and is set in 35 acres of parkland.

Queen Margaret University specializes in both undergraduate and postgraduate student courses in Health Sciences such as Physiotherapy, Podiatry, and Nursing in addition to Business, Enterprise and Management, Social Sciences, Drama and Creative Industries. The University also offers a number of continuing professional development (CPD) courses.

There is limited parking on a 'Stay and Pay' basis. The easiest access is by bus.

Eildon Bed and Breakfast is on the direct bus route (Number 30) to QMU. This is a frequent 24 hour service and the journey takes 15 minutes.

Travel from the Queen Margaret University to Edinburgh City centre by number 30 bus takes 35 minutes.
